When creating a group reminder, you setup the reminder like you normally would for yourself.

The only difference is, before you save the reminder, toggle on the group reminder setting.

public vs invite only group reminders

PUBLIC

When toggling on the group reminder, it will default to a public reminder. This means you do not need to specify who is allowed to join the reminder. Just share the public link with anybody and they will be able to join.

INVITE ONLY

If you toggle on "Invite Only”, You will need to add each contact before saving the reminder. If you do happen to save the reminder before adding the users, you can tap on the reminder, scroll down the group section and press “Share Reminder”. When your contacts pop open, you will need to press invite for each user.

The friends have not accepted the reminder yet. You need to share the link with them, and it will bring them to the necessary page for them to accept / deny the reminder.

Accepting • Denying Group Reminders

When a user from Text Me That shares a reminder with you, and adds you to the invite only list, you will be notified by the notification bell on the top right. If you tap that, and tap the reminder of interest, you will be able to accept or deny the group reminder.

At any time, you can leave the group reminder by just deleting the reminder.
