Creating a reminder

A simple way to create reminders

When you are on the main dashboard, you can tap the compose button on the bottom right.

After tapping the button, you will be brought to the New Reminder Page. This is where you will be able to setup your reminder. Every time you come to the New Reminder Page, it will default to the Calendar reminder type.

The first thing it will prompt you to do is write your reminder message. This is the whole reason you are here. To jot down that thought as quickly as possible so you do not forget. You can add additional notes if necessary.

Once finished, select the frequency of your reminder and how long you want the reminder to repeat.

Next select the start date and time.

And now your done. Press save and your reminder will be set to send to you at the correct time.

Weekly and BiWeekly Reminders

If you choose a weekly or bi-weekly reminder, it will show a list of week days to choose from for when you want to start your reminder. When you select the day of the week, it will default to the next calendar date of the day of the week chosen. date. Aka: If you choose Monday, the reminder will start on the that coming up Monday at that specific time. If you want it to start at a later date, you can press the Show Calendar Option at the bottom of the time picker. This will bring up a calendar for you to chose your start date.

Group Reminders

The Group reminders toggle will be disabled if you create a repeating reminder that never ends. It requires group credits to send reminders to other people.

It is ONE group credit per REMINDER per FRIEND. That means, a group reminder that is schedule to send for 2 months to 3 friends would cost 6 group credits, because a total of 3 text messages would be sent out each time.

Maybe in the future, I will code it where can you just create the group reminder and it will just pull from your credits until you run out, but that seems more of a headache for the user. It could be confusing for the user if the reminder seemed to “randomly” stop, but not realizing they just ran out of credits.
